John D. Ireland, CPA
Chuck, as he is known to many, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland in 1984, and also earned a Master of Science Degree in Taxation from Georgetown University in 1990. Chuck started his career in 1984 with C.W. Amos and Company in their Cambridge office and has since continued to work from offices in Easton, Cambridge, and Preston. He specializes in business and tax advising for closely held businesses. He has received the AICPA’s Certificate of Educational Achievement in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses. Chuck has been a Certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks Accounting Software since 1999. Chuck, an Eastern Shore native, resides in Southern Caroline County with his wife, Lisa, and sons, Nash and Will. He has served on many community organizations throughout Caroline, Dorchester and Talbot counties. Currently, he is serving as a Vice-President of Denton Little League, a Board Member for Provident State Bank, Treasurer for The Grand National Waterfowl Association, and Committee Member at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Denton.
Samuel P. Sauca, CPA
Sam has been in the public accounting field since 1997. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Salisbury University in 1997. Sam specializes in individual and small business accounting as well as tax issues facing the agricultural community. Sam is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor for QuickBooks Accounting Software. Sam is a member of the AICPA and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He serves as Treasurer for the Talbot County Young Farmers, and is currently Co-President of The Talbot County Agriculture Center, Inc. Sam is a lifelong Eastern Shore Resident and resides in Easton with his wife, Wendy, and daughters, Madalyn and Morgan.
Amy I. Brandt, CPA
Amy has been in the public accounting field for twelve years. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park. Her specialties include governmental accounting and accounting for small businesses. She also offers support and training for the QuickBooks Software Program. Amy serves on the Board for the Chesapeake Culinary Center. She is a native to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and resides in Denton with her husband, Nick, and daughters, Macy and Taryn.
Jason T. Brown, CPA
Jason has been in public accounting for three years. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond in 2005 with a double major in accounting and finance. Jason passed the CPA examination in September 2007. He specializes in consulting and tax advising for individuals and closely held businesses. Jason has a functional understanding of the QuickBooks Software Program. Jason is a member of the AICPA and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Jason currently holds a license to practice in Maryland and a permit to practice in Delaware. He serves on the Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence Board of Directors and as an Ambassador for the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce. Jason is a lifelong resident of the Eastern Shore and resides in Denton with his family.
Lisa K. Durham, MBA, CPA
Lisa has been in the public accounting field since 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Villa Julie College in 2005 and her Masters in Business Administration in 2006. Lisa passed the CPA exam in May 2007. Lisa focuses on accounting and tax reporting for small businesses as well as providing review and audit services. She also offers support and training for clients as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Lisa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Lisa is a lifelong resident of the Eastern Shore and currently resides with her husband in Ridgely.
Melinda Roe
Melinda has been employed in the public accounting field for three years in an administrative and paraprofessional capacity. She is currently working toward a degree in Accounting. Melinda focuses on the day-to-day bookkeeping operations for small businesses and individuals inclusive of payroll and sales tax preparation, billing and payroll setups. Melinda resides in Easton with her husband, Vincent, and their children, Evan, Emily, and Sarah.
Kitzy Smith, E.A.
Kitzy has been employed in public accounting for over 15 years. Kitzy has performed in many capacities during her career in the accounting industry. She began working for a local CPA firm in the early 1990s. In January 2007, Kitzy passed the Enrolled Agent examination issued by the Internal Revenue Service. The Enrolled Agent program is specifically licensed and maintained by the IRS and allows her to represent taxpayers in all aspects of taxation. Kitzy has also been a Certified QuickBooks Proadvisor since 2004. Kitzy offers bookkeeping support to clients utilizing the QuickBooks Software Program inclusive of initial company setups and payroll processing. Kitzy resides in Easton with her husband, Scott, and their two children, Logan and Samantha.
